Mass Effect 3 FOV Fix

Here's an FOV fix for Mass Effect 3: http://www.mediafire.com/?705nbex2c5z99n8

Just extract it to your Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole folder, and replace the original file. Make a backup of Coalsced.bin just to in case something goes wrong.

To change the FOV, simply press the 'zoom in' button (default Mouse Button 2). When you change the field of view, the cutscene and dialogue FOV is also changed, so they look a bit weird. To fix this, press the Mouse Button 1 once the cutscene/dialogue starts to restore to the original FOV. After that just press Mouse Button 2 again to increase the FOV.
I've seen other fixes, but you couldn't zoom in once you changed the FOV. Using this fix, the zoom in also works.

110 FOV:

  1. thanks for this. I'm getting sick and tired of developers who don't implement this simple feature out of sheer laziness. Bioware know full well that any PC player requires a different FOV, and it's just a matter of changing a digit so what's up with that? Infuriating really.

  2. Is there a way to change it to a FOV that is a bit lower than 110. I dislike the fisheye effect that higher levels of FOV have?
